About the event
Please join us for the 2nd Annual Minnie's Island Oktoberfest, where we will once again deliver great food, pretzels, beer and mugs. This is MICC's only fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from your minimum donation of $100 will off-set event costs and support ongoing MICC conservation, education and restoration efforts.
This is an ADULTS ONLY event. Please do not bring kids or pets.
Be sure to dress for the occasion and the weather. Also, the landings will likely be muddy so please wear proper shoes/boots.
We encourage you to walk to the event if you live close by. If driving, park at the Lock 8 lot, off of the Clara Barton Parkway or at the end of Riverside Drive and walk down either path to reach the lock house.
MICC will provide transport to and from the island throughout the day. Beginning at 12:45 PM attendees can meet at C&O…
